Injustice 2 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Release Date Trailer

The Injustice 2 Ninja Turtles Trailer Has Got Me Shell Shocked

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming to Injustice 2, and a newly released trailer shows off some of their moves. This unique addition to the game will essentially roll four characters into one, meaning you can swap between Donatello, Leonardo, Raphael, and Michelangelo at will using Injustice 2‘s gear system.

As you can see in the trailer, each of the four Ninja Turtles will be controllable in Injustice 2. You’ll be able to swap them out by using the gear system to pick between them like you would a skin for another hero. This means whether your favorite weapon is the nunchaku, sai, staff, or katana, you’ll be able to get the turtle you want.

Each turtle has their own move set, so they aren’t just clones of each other with a different color mask slapped on, and in modes that don’t use the gear system, you’ll be able to select them individually. Just because you’ll be controlling one Ninja Turtle doesn’t mean the others won’t join the fight. The brothers will jump into battle during special moves to lend a hand, or a shell, and lay the hurt on your enemies.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming to Injustice 2 for Fighter Pack 3 owners on February 13 along with Enchantress and The Atom. If you’re looking to get them as individual DLC, you’ll have to wait a little longer until they release as a standalone on February 20.

I was never a huge fan of the Ninja Turtles, but even I can appreciate the work that went into giving them an entirely unique playstyle for Injustice 2. Unfortunately, Shredder and April aren’t anywhere in sight, which is a bummer. But hey, there can always be a Fighter Pack 4.
