Walmart Canada Loses Its Mind, Posts Store Listings for Splinter Cell, Borderlands 3, Rage 2 and More

We can’t even begin to tell you how glad we are that we’re not Walmart Canada right now. In a series of unfortunate events that can only be described as ‘nightmarish’, Walmart Canada has managed to leak store listing for Splinter Cell, Borderlands 3, Rage 2 and a whole lot of other games that had previously been unannounced.

How did they manage to leak these games? By adding the list to their pre-order menu of course. Not the cleverest thing Walmart has ever done, especially as it is now online with more than a few people speculating on what this could mean for E3.  The list, spotted by Wario64 on Twitter, can be seen below.

As you can see, some of these games are completely out of the blue and have taken more than a few people by surprise. It wouldn’t be too hard to believe that some of these games, such as Rage 2, Borderlands 3, Just Cause 4, Gears of War 5, LEGO DC Villains and an unnamed Assassins Creed title was actually intended to be revealed at E3.

If that’s true, then we’re sure that there are more than a few people out there feeling pretty steamed about Walmart practically ruining the surprise. Of course, there are a few titles on the list that don’t make sense, such as Forza Horizon 5 which seems impossible when there hasn’t even been a number 4. Dragon Quest 2 also stands out as being rather strange, particularly because the closest Dragon Quest titles are Dragon Quest Heroes 2 and Dragon Quest 11. Neither of which is intended for the Xbox One.

So taking that into consideration, we advise fans not to get too excited until E3 comes around and you see what’s coming up with your own two eyes. We, after all, don’t have long to wait.
