E3 2018: Trials Rising Release Date Announced for Switch, PS4, and Xbox One

A brand new Trials Rising trailer was unveiled at E3 2018, along with its February 2019 release date and a debut on the Nintendo SwitchTrials will once again see the return of the motorcycle series, bringing even more players this time around in tracks located around the world. It looks like familiar stuff for those who have enjoyed previous Trials games, combining tricky jumps with spectacular crashes.

Trials Rising will bring back the on-wheels platforming of its predecessors, along with introducing a new co-op mode dubbed “Tandem Bike.” This will see two players take control of a single dirtbike and each try to navigate it through one of the game’s many punishing levels.

Those who enjoyed the customization options of previous Trials games will be pleased, with players able to edit their bikes and outfits, while Ubisoft has invested more time and effort into its level editor. Expect to see some crazy creations pop up online when the game launches next year.

Ubisoft RedLynx and Ubisoft Kiev are working on conjunction with one another to create the new game. Sign-ups for the closed beta are available now, so players can register in order to play the game first and test it out ahead of its full launch next year. Along with the Switch, Trials Rising will also launch on the PS4 and Xbox One.
