The House of the Dead Remake Release Date

The House of the Dead: Remake Release Date Announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC

Forever Entertainment, which describes itself as the “leading publisher of video games for the Nintendo Switch console” on its official website, has surprisingly announced The House of the Dead: Remake release date for non-Switch consoles. In this case, the game will be arriving for PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC via Steam and GoG.

What is The House of the Dead: Remake release date for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms?

Through a tweet (posted below) on Forever Entertainment’s official account, it has confirmed that the House of the Dead: Remake will be out is about a week on April 28, 2022.

In a quick tweet reply to the original post, the publisher has also confirmed that an upcoming patch on the PS4 version will bring support for the PS Move. The House of the Dead: Remake is priced at $24.99.

The House of the Dead: Remake was released earlier this month on April 7, 2022 for Nintendo Switch. The classic arcade rail-shooter has been revamped with modern graphics and controls, including one control scheme that can be turned on to incorporate gyro aiming. The game supports local two-player multiplayer and includes photo mode, in-game achievements, an armory with unlockable weapons, and a new game mode where players can face off against hordes of undead monsters.

Forever Entertainment announced in 2019 that it had signed the necessary agreements to create remakes for both House of the Dead and House of the Dead 2. Very little information on the House of the Dead 2 remake has been released, though with the release of the first remake coming to multiple platforms, it stands to reason that the sequel’s remake will likely be coming to multiple platforms as well. Whether it will be a brief timed exclusive on Nintendo Switch is unknown.

In the Nintendo Direct broadcast in February 2022, Forever Entertainment also revealed that it would be remaking Front Mission 1st to be released in summer 2022 as well as Front Mission 2 which has no release date yet.

In other news, the Nintendo Switch Online Trial for Dragon Quest Builders 2 is now live, and the Sonic Origins DLC is needlessly complicated.
