My Hero One’s Justice, formerly known as My Hero Academia: One’s Justice, finally has a western release date, according to an announcement by Bandai Namco Entertainment America. The 3D arena fighting game based on the popular My Hero Academia manga and anime will be released on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch sometime in October 2018. A new E3 trailer was also released for the game along with the announcement.
My Hero One’s Justice will feature some of the franchise’s popular protagonists such as Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Tsuyu Asui. Players will also get to play as some of the show’s Pro Heroes including All Might and Eraserhead as well as some of its villians such as Stain, Dabi, and Himiko Toga.
Players will be able to form three-man squads consisting of one main fighter and two support characters that will be able to perform signature attacks or use their Quirks when called. Each character will have a unique support attack and Quirk that can be executed on the ground, in the air, or even on buildings. Players will also be able to perform unique combination attacks with their sidekicks.
In the game’s Story Mode, players will be able to experience some of the most iconic moments of the anime as well as original scenarios created just for the game. After completing the Story Mode as a hero, players will unlock Villain Mode wherein they can play through the story from the villain’s perspective.
Completing missions in the game will unlock items that will increase their hero’s capabilities as well as customize their appearance. My Hero One’s Justice will also have an online mode wherein they can battle other players using their customized heroes.
My Hero One’s Justice is scheduled for release on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch sometime in October 2018. You can check out the game’s new E3 trailer below:
