Fortnite Android Beta Release Date Revealed, Samsung Phones Get Early Access

Players have been asking and asking for a Fortnite Android beta release date to be officially confirmed, and now big boss Tim Sweeney has delivered. Revealed during the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 announcement live stream, Sweeney not only revealed when the Fortnite Android beta release date is, but also an added bonus for owners of Samsung devices.

Fortnite Android Beta Release Date

The Fortnite Android beta release date has been confirmed to be today for Samsung devices. You can click here to sign on up for access.

These are the Samsung devices that support the beta:

  • Samsung Galaxy: S7 / S7 Edge , S8 / S8+, S9 / S9+, Note 8, Note 9, Tab S3, Tab S4

If you plan on picking up a Samsung Note 9 or Galaxy Tab S4, you’ll receive a bonus in-game new Galaxy skin.

If you don’t use a Samsung device, but still want to try out the Fortnite Android beta, you can also sign up using the link above, and should get access within the “coming days.”

Various high-end Android phones will also be able to run the beta. Access is being granted in waves, presumably to prevent a huge influx of players causing havoc with the servers.

Unlike other Android games, Fortnite will not be downloadable through the Play Store. Instead, players will need to visit Fortnite.com on mobile.

The Android version of Fortnite supports full cross-play and cross-progressing with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, Mac, and iOS.
