DmC: Devil May Cry Underperforms, Capcom Adjusts Projections

Last month, Capcom shipped one million copies of DmC: Devil May Cry across both the PS3 and Xbox 360. The publisher projected two million in sales by the end of March, but Capcom has revised that number to 1.2 million.

It's worth noting that sales for the PC version have not yet been taken into account, which launched on the 25th of last month. Regardless, this is upsettingly far behind Devil May Cry 4, which moved a whopping two million units within its first two weeks on store shelves.

Why do you think sales are so disappointing? Could the drastic visual change be the main factor, or are people just tired of the franchise? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
