A Devil May Cry 5 demo is releasing on Xbox exclusively tomorrow.

The Game Awards 2018: Devil May Cry 5 Demo Tomorrow, New Trailer Released

A new Devil May Cry 5 trailer was released at The Game Awards tonight. A Devil May Cry 5 demo will release exclusively on the Xbox One tomorrow, December 7. Capcom confirmed the demo come to other platforms at a later date.

The Devil May Cry 5 trailer dove deeper into the game’s story, and showed off more of V, a new playable character. The trailer also confirmed that the Bloody Palace mode will return to Devil May Cry 5 in a free update in April 2019. DMC5 will launch on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 on March 19, 2019.

Devil May Cry 5 casts Nero as the main playable character, although Dante and V are also playable for parts of the game. Nero premiered in Devil May Cry 4, where he became the somewhat unwelcome main player character. He’s since grown on players, but was met with resistance at first.

The Bloody Palace is a single-elimination tournament mode that sees players fight through hundreds of battles in a difficult gauntlet to unlock rewards. The mode has existed in all Devil May Cry games besides the original.

Devil May Cry 5 is being developed internally at Capcom, and was revealed at E3 2018. The last game in the series, DmC: Devil May Cry, was developed by Ninja Theory and released in 2013.
