Fallout 76 Canvas Bags Won’t Arrive Until Sometime Next Year

Fallout 76 canvas bags won’t arrive until sometime next year according to an email sent out to people who purchased the Power Armor Edition of the game.

Some people ponied up the big bucks to get the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition. This special edition of the game included a replica power armor helmet (hence the name) and was supposed to include a canvas bag to carry it in. Unfortunately, the bag did not appear as advertised and customers were rather upset. It seems like things are moving along to make things right, but the solution may end up taking a while.

Emails have recently been sent out to players regarding their replacement Fallout 76 canvas bags as reported by VG 24/7. Customers who have filed a claim to get their replacement bags should have heard from Bethesda by now, although some players have reported difficulty in getting their requests for replacement Fallout 76 canvas bags confirmed by the company. The email states that they should get their replacement bag within 4-6 months after they’ve received the notice. This time frame means that the new bags should be shipping out sometime between April 2019 and June 2019.

Players who voiced their complaints concerning the quality and materials of the bag included in the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition were initially offered a sum of in-game currency to alleviate their concerns. Bethesda’s compensation of 500 Atoms currency was viewed as woefully inadequate and was not appreciated by the community. Ultimately, Bethesda promised to follow-through on getting customers their genuine Fallout 76 canvas bags.

The debacle surrounding the Fallout 76 canvas bags has certainly been a wild ride. Bethesda had made more than a few missteps, but they certainly seem intent on making things right, even if it will take a while. Customers will hopefully have their hands on their replacement Fallout 76 canvas bags by the middle of 2019 at the latest, although that date is based on the assumption that nothing else goes wrong in the meantime.
