PS Vita’s Tearaway Has A Release Date

One of the PlayStation Vita's most promising exclusives is ready to rock paper this Fall.

Media Molecule has confirmed that Tearaway will release exclusively on the PS Vita on October 22nd in North America, and October 23rd in Europe. On release day it'll be available for purchase through the PS Store or via retail with a reversible box art as seen below:

Tearaway is the first release from Media Molecule since LittleBigPlanet 2 in 2011, and its first go at the PS Vita. Both of the studio's games have scored above a 90% average making this an important title for Sony's struggling handheld.

The gameplay of Tearaway takes advantage of every features on the PS Vita to interact with the game's colorful, paper-made world. You're able to pull apart the environment with the rear touch pad, or even take photos with the Vita's camera before applying them to objects.
