EA-Published Games Make Up One Third Of PS4 Software Sold

Electronic Arts is currently claiming that of all the PlayStation 4 games sold thus far, a solid third of them are titles published by EA.

Peter Moore, COO at Electronic Arts, made the announcement on Twitter, saying, "Gamers are speaking…our week 1 estimates show that 1 of every 3 #PS4 games sold is an @EA game! #FIFA14 #Madden25 #BF4 #NeedforSpeed."

Moore did not specify whether this is based solely on retail copies sold or if it includes digital sales as well. Considering the popularity of downloadable titles like ResogunContrast, and Flower, there's a good chance Moore is only speaking about retail sales figures.

If you picked up a PlayStation 4, let us know what titles you purchased on day one. Did you buy any games from EA?
