Mass Murderer Wants PS3 and “More Adult Games” In Prison

I wish this was all an early April Fool's joke.

I understand that the Norwegian prisons are better than those in the United States by far, that some of them could be considered a day spa by comparison, but Norwegian mass murderer Anders Bhering Breivik takes the cake for the whiniest prisoner on the planet. All hail your whimpering.

According to a letter received by AFP Friday, the 35-year-old right-wing extremist who massacred 77 people in a bomb attack in Oslo and a shooting rampage at a Labour Youth camp in July 2011 has a list of demands he believes should be met due to his good behavior. More than a few of those demands involve access to better video games.

Specifically, he's tired of his PlayStation 2 and wants it replaced with a PlayStation 3, including "access to more adult games that I get to choose myself" because he's had to play, for example, Rayman Revolution, which he feels is "a game aimed at three-year olds." He also demands access to a PC instead of a "worthless typewriter with technology dating back to 1873."

Oh, and he can't stand the "painful" chair he has to sit in while gaming, desiring a sofa or armchair instead. (Because the next time I go on a killing spree, I'll make sure to think about that "comfy chair" I have at home and just stop.)

"You've put me in hell," he writes to prison authorities in November, "and I won't manage to survive that long. You are killing me." Considering himself as a "human rights activist" who received "aggravated torture," he will threaten to go on a hunger strike if his prison conditions do not improve.
