Marvel Super Heroes Joining Disney Infinity [Update: Announcement Trailer]

[Update]: It's official! Marvel's slate of iconic superheroes are coming to Disney Infinity in the game's "2.0 Edition," which will be releasing sometime later this year. Check out the charming announcement trailer above if you haven't already clicked play.

[Original] As previously rumored, it looks like Marvel's cast of heroic icons will be coming to Disney Infinity—that is, if a teaser video courtesy of Marvel Entertainment is any indication.

You'll notice at the end of the video that, along with the Disney Infinity logo, it says "2.0 Edition," alluding to the fact that Marvel characters will be rolled out in a second edition of the game. Perhaps Star Wars figures will then make an appearance in the inevitable 3.0 release? Once can only hope!

Stay tuned to GameRevolution, as Disney is sure to provide more details on this tease very soon. In the meantime, get your Disney-filled fix by reading our review of Disney Magical World.
