Standalone White PlayStation 4 Coming to Europe

At E3, Sony announced a Destiny console bundle that will include not only a copy of Bungie's upcoming shooter, but also a super-sleek white PlayStation 4. Fortunately, it looks like those who aren't interested in Destiny will be able to pick up a white PS4 as a standalone unit; at least in Europe, anyway.

"In Europe we're going to launch the bundle with Destiny on September 9th," Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida told Game One (via IGN). "But after that, later this year, we're going to release the standalone white PS4 as well in Europe."

There's no word on whether or not North American gamers will get similar treatment, but one can only assume it'll be a matter of time before a standalone white console SKU makes its way to a wider audience.
