The PC platform may often be criticized for not being particularly user friendly, but one can't deny it has a leg up on the console market when it comes to things like pricing.
In an interview with GamesIndustry, id Software's John Romero went so far as to say that PC is totally crushing the console market with its array of games and pricing options. "With PC you have free-to-play and Steam games for five bucks." he explained. "The PC is decimating console, just through price. Free-to-play has killed a hundred AAA studios."
Romero also spoke about the technical advantages that come with gaming on PC, saying, "With PCs if you want a faster system you can just plug in some new video cards, put faster memory in it, and you'll always have the best machine that blows away PS4 or Xbox One."
Where do you fall on the PC vs. console debate? Do you prefer the simplified and closed experience that comes with having a console, or is the more flexible and open option of PC gaming more appealing to you?
