[Update] It's official! Microsoft has confirmed to Polygon that a white Xbox One bundle will be launching later this year. It will be priced at $399 without Kinect and will include a copy of Insomniac's upcoming game Sunset Overdrive.
[Original] Sony is offering a white PlayStation 4 hardware bundle when Destiny launches this September, but Microsoft has yet to pull a similar move and offer a white version of its latest home console to the general public.
However, there's still hope that a white Xbox One will be available for purchase later this year, as French retailer Micromania has a listing for a white Xbox One console bundle that comes packed with a copy of Insomniac's upcoming exclusive Sunset Overdrive.
Microsoft has yet to confirm the existence of such a bundle, so we'll have to treat this as nothing more than rumor for the time being, but here's to hoping we'll get a surprise reveal at Gamescom.
