Solo Leveling’s Sung Jin-Woo Set To Join the Fortnite Squad — Report

Epic Games’ Fortnite made a cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter) on February 16, and the company might be teasing a collaboration with the popular anime franchise, “Solo Leveling.” Over the years, the popular video game has collaborated with numerous anime IPs, including “Jujutsu Kaisen,” “Attack on Titan,” and “My Hero Academia.” Their first anime collaboration was with “Naruto.”

Fortnite and Solo Leveling’s collab reportedly in works

In March 2025, leaker Shpeshal_Nick claimed on X that he had received a direct message, which claimed a Fortnite and Solo Leveling collab. The Australia-based leaker wrote, “Just got a DM that Solo Leveling is supposed to be coming to Fortnite. Have no idea what that is, I had to Google it. I thought he was telling me levelling of individual characters lol.”

Rumors about the same have been swirling for months now. On February 16, Fortnite’s official X account teased the Solo Leveling collab, writing, “The weakest Hunter of all mankind. E-rank. No potential. No future…” The next post read, “If you were given another path, would you accept?” This led fans to speculate about a new potential collab with the popular anime series.

For those unversed, this is a South Korean anime series based on the eponymous web novel and manhwa series. “Solo Leveling” follows the world’s lowest ranked hunter, Sung Jin-Woo, in his journey to become the greatest. He has the unique ability to level up his skills on his own and fight increasingly dangerous monsters. The secrets he learns threaten to change the course of humanity.

Based on Fortnite’s pattern of dropping new major collabs, the new one could be out on Thursday or Friday this week. AdiraFNInfo has alleged that the upcoming collab will feature three new skins (via HYPEX). The two confirmed skins are Sung Jin-Woo and Cha Hae-In. The third skin could either be Igris or Beru. According to talkesport, leaks have also claimed that besides character skins, players will get several cosmetics, including pickaxes.
