If you thought Mario was a fashionista in previous titles, wait until you see all the costumes you can find in Super Mario Odyssey. There are a ton of outfits you can put our favorite plumber in, and you can mix and match clothing options to your heart’s content. Super Mario Odyssey amiibo unlocks give you extra cosmetic items as well, though you can earn them in game.

How to Get Outfits in Super Mario Odyssey
To get costumes, hats, and clothing in Super Mario Odyssey you have a few options. The main place you’ll be getting them from is the Crazy Cap Shop that is available in each kingdom. One optiion to purchase outfits is the Gold Coins you can find all over the game. However, a lot of costumes can only be purchased in certain kingdoms with purple Coins. Purple Coins (also called regional Coins) are unique to each kingdom and can only be used in the level they’re found in. They’re not too hard to find, but make sure if you see them you grab them if you want to collect every outfit.

You’ll start the game with your Mario Cap and Mario Suit, but for any other clothes you’ll need to play for a little bit.
