Overwatch Offseason: When Does it End, Brigitte, Season 10 Start Date

It’s the calm before the storm. Overwatch is in the process of taking a breather between seasons 9 and 10, with the Overwatch Offseason. But what does it all mean? Where’s Brigitte and am I in danger of losing my rank? Everything’s explained here in this handy guide.

Overwatch Offseason: Start and End Dates

The Overwatch Offseason, which you can access through quick play, is essentially a practice ground for those who don’t want to be burdened with competitive consequences but still want the thrill of a competitive mode to mess around in.

For season 9, this starts April 27 at 5pm PST/1am BST and will last until Monday, April 30 at 5pm PST/1am BST, which is when Overwatch Season 10 rolls out.

Overwatch Offseason: Playing as Brigitte

Unfortunately, those wanting to get their hands on new hero Brigitte before Overwatch season 10 will also have to wait until April 30.

You cannot play as Brigitte during the entirety of the Overwatch Offseason, which means you’ll have to focus more on tweaking your tactics with the current batch of heroes rather than trying something new.

Overwatch Offseason: Will I Lose My Rank?

Not to worry, you will not lose your rank (or any of your end-of-season rewards for that matter) when playing Overwatch Offseason. It merely acts as a palate-cleanser for the hard-and-heavy gameplay of season 9 and a buffer between the new and shiny season 10 which just happens to be around the corner. The Overwatch Offseason is a space for you to practice, practice, practice before wins and losses start to mean something.

Overwatch Offseason: Season 10 Start Date

As mentioned above, Overwatch Season 10 kicks off on Monday, April 30 at 5pm PST/1am BST. This also marks the end of another dose of Overwatch Offseasons, so get your thumbs primed and your heroes’ strategies down pat: it’s nearly time to do it all over again.
