As ever, the mysterious merchant will be making his way to a certain location on June 8, lasting through to June 11, and bringing with him some of the best Destiny 2 items that shards can buy. So, where is Xur’s location on June 8, what time is he leaving Destiny 2, and what is in Xur selling from his Inventory? By the Agent of the Nine, I’m about to tell you.
Destiny 2 Where is Xur?: Xur Location (June 8)
This week, Xur can be found on The Last City, Earth. You will find him at the very back of the Hangar in the Tower, to the north-west of the room. To reach him, go up the first flight of stairs you see at the back of the Hangar.
Destiny 2 When Does Xur Appear?: Xur Start and End Time (June 8)
If you’re wondering where Xur has been for half the day, you may have missed the boat on Xur getting a new start time on Destiny 2. Every Friday, including June 8, he’ll pop up starting from 1pm EST/6pm BST and stick around for the next 3 days, leaving at June 11 at roughly 1pm EST/6pm BST. The previous time where Xur would rock up was originally 10am EST/3pm BST, but has been changed relatively recently.
What is Xur Selling?: Xur Inventory (June 8)
- Chest Armor: The Dragon’s Shadow (23 Legendary Shards)
- Leg Armor (Titan): Peacekeepers (23 Legendary Shards)
- Leg Armor (Warlock): Transversive Steps (23 Legendary Shards)
- Submachine Gun: The Huckleberry (29 Legendary Shards)
There are also accessories that Xur sells to help you on your quest to get bigger and better loot. The Three of Coins, which increase the drop rate of exotic engrams are available at 31 Legendary Shards.
Isochronal Engrams, this week a Fated Engram, which include new exotic items to complete their collections, are available as per usual for 97 Legendary Shards. They can only be bought once.

The PC Version Will Be Blizzard Desktop App Exclusive
For the first time in Destiny history, it will embrace PC. While that's worthy of celebration, it has been confirmed that Activision will partner with Blizzard to bring Destiny 2 exclusively to the Blizzard Desktop App, formerly known as Battle.net. This has upset a large number of PC gamers who were expecting to be able to buy and play the game on Steam where most of their games are located.

No Dedicated Servers
Despite being the most financially successful new franchise of the generation, Destiny seems to like cutting corners when it comes to servers. Continuing in the footsteps of its predecessor it will not have dedicated servers, not even on PC. This means that all connections will be host using peer-to-peer connectivity, completely reliant on the connectivity of its player base. -
3 Familiar Classes
Given that many considered the original Destiny to be "rushed", it was only natural to expect additional playable classes in its sequel. Surprisingly, Bungie has decided to stick with only three, consisting of Hunter, Warlock, and Titan. Equally as surprising, most of the same abilities will be carried over, although there will be some new ones. -
30 FPS, Except On PC
PC gamers are going to have a significant perk in the way of framerate, as all console versions will be 30 FPS locked. Even the Project Scorpio and PS4 Pro versions won't be able to push beyond this limit. Meanwhile, the PC version will enjoy up to 60 FPS. For a game that's about moving and shooting in a fast-paced environment, that's a major detail. -
