Ghost of Tsushima 'Cannot Fast Travel During Combat' Error Fix

Ghost of Tsushima ‘Cannot Fast Travel During Combat’ Error Fix

Knowing how to fix the Ghost of Tsushima “Cannot fast travel during combat” error is key to being able to move about the map unhindered once again. Sometimes the game can stop you fast traveling, which is obviously annoying when you just want to warp closer to the next objective or a merchant to stop up on supplies. Thankfully, we too have been hit with this weird bug and worked out a fix. Here’s what you need to know about the Ghost of Tsushima fast travel bug.

How to fix the Ghost of Tsushima ‘Cannot Fast Travel During Combat’ error

Ghost of Tsushima 'Cannot Fast Travel During Combat' Error Fix

To fix the Ghost of Tsushima “Cannot fast travel during combat” error, you’re going to want to save and then reload that file.

We’d recommend saving in a brand new slot, so that you can always load up the old save if something goes terribly wrong. Making use of multiple slots is good practice anyway, so definitely make a habit of it.

For some reason the “Cannot fast travel during combat” error can appear when no enemies or hostile animals are around. It happened to me when I’d finished fighting a group of Mongols.

If you’re sure that all Mongols in the area are dead, including those that are on the ground and require executing, then you’ll want to try the above fix. Reload your game and you should be able to use fast travel.

Here’s hoping developer Sucker Punch Productions can squash this little bug in a future PS4 update. Until then, use this workaround to keep making progress through Ghost of Tsushima.
