Items featured in the Avengers game marketplace are all premium microtransactions and cosmetic in nature; there’s a nice mix of classic comic book-inspired looks and original concepts. Although it’s possible to earn a minimal amount of premium currency (Credits) in-game, you’ll need to spend real money if you plan to make purchases with any regularity.
