Currently, there is no confirmation that a second season will happen. There is a tease, however, from a reliable anime leaker, that Season 2 will likely release at some point in the future.
Taking to Twitter following the ending of The Misfit of Demon King Academy, RanobeSugoi explained “The Misfit of Demon King Academy is too good to have only 01 Season.” Further, in the comments, RanobeSugoi added that they didn’t confirm anything. “Not yet.” The sunglasses smiley emoji at the end of the second tweet is as good as we’re gonna get for an announcement without official confirmation. Given that anime series’ tend to be in the works for a year or so, at least, we can pencil in a potential summer 2021 release date for The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2/episode 14.
