Epic Games’ Fortnite is the king of crossovers, and that doesn’t look set to change anytime soon. Recent leaks indicate that Marvel Comics favorite Captain Marvel might be coming to the game as the latest in a long line of superheroes. For anyone looking to play as the iconic Carol Danvers, here’s how to unlock Captain Marvel in Fortnite on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
How to get Captain Marvel in Fortnite
Ever since debuting in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Captain Marvel has grown in popularity. Played by Brie Larson, who recently appeared at The Game Awards 2020, it looks like players may soon be able to make the character their own with an in-game Captain Marvel Fortnite outfit.
To unlock the Captain Marvel Fortnite skin, players will need to purchase it from the Item Shop using V-Bucks or complete a set of in-game challenges.
Typically, Epic Games has Fortnite fans earn or purchase new characters via the above methods. As such, it’s unlikely that the potential new Fortnite Captain Marvel skin would be earnable in any other fashion. That said, no official details have been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.

Although it appears legit, it’s worth keeping in mind that nothing is official just yet. Epic Games could, in theory, end up not making Captain Marvel publically available in Fortnite.
When is the Captain Marvel Fortnite release date?
Judging by recent leaks, which appear legitimate and come from reliable dataminers, Captain Marvel could be added to Fortnite soon. A Tuesday, December 22 Fortnite Captain Marvel release date could happen, as that’s when the next update is likely to land. With Captain Marvel seemingly present in the game code, Epic may be prepping to implement the new Marvel skin ASAP.
Captain Marvel isn’t alone, as leaks also indicate that DC Comics’ Green Arrow is coming to Fortnite. Planes may also be making their return, at least for the Christmas season. Alongside potential new heroes and returning vehicles, a couple of powerful new weapons have been added to the battle royale game.
