Halo Infinite Campaign Demo: Will there be a single-player or co-op flight test?

Is it possible there will be a Halo Infinite campaign demo before the release of the game this holiday? Alternatively, will there be a Halo Infinite single-player flight test, perhaps with co-op too? The first ever Halo Infinite fight preview start date was last weekend and only just concluded on Monday, and that was based around players against bots — so is it possible the next Halo Infinite flight will be the campaign? Will fans be able to try the Halo Infinite campaign early? Here’s all the info.

Will there be a Halo Infinite campaign demo or flight test?

There will be a lot more shown and revealed about the Halo Infinite campaign before release, as community director Brian Jarrard confirmed in a thread on Twitter about the recent flight test, but as of right now there is no confirmation that there will be any way to play the campaign before Halo Infinite’s release this holiday season — whether a campaign demo or any sort of single-player/co-op flight test.

There should be at least one more Halo Infinite beta test happening in the next few months, although that will almost certainly be a larger-scale flight devoted to PvP and multiplayer rather than the single-player or co-op campaign. There may be further betas after this, and as the Halo Master Chief Collection received single-player/co-op flight tests it’s possible there will be one for Halo Infinite too — although things are complicated by the fact that Halo Infinite’s multiplayer will be free and separate from the campaign.

The first Halo Infinite tech preview last weekend was only announced at the beginning of the week before, so any Halo fans looking to be a part of any further flight tests should make sure they are signed up for Flighting on the Halo Insider page, which is the only way to get access to all of the various Halo Flighting tests. It’s possible Halo Infinite may be getting a battle royale mode too, and it will be on Xbox One surprisingly — although don’t expect it to come out on PS5.
