Apex Legends | Update 1.77 Patch Notes

There really isn’t much to see in the Apex Legends update version 1.77 patch notes. This patch slightly reduces Prowler damage, decreases ADS speed with the L-Star, and makes both more costly in Arenas. There’s also a smattering of bug fixes for Seer’s abilities, though nothing you might call a nerf.

In other words, this is a maintenance update. There’s no new content on offer, nor anything that changes the game in any significant way. All the same, there are some patch notes to check out:

  • Reduces Prowler damage from 15>14
  • Reduces speed with ADSing with the L-Star
  • Fixes a map hole near Climatizer
  • Raises prices for the Prowler and L-Star in Arenas
  • Fixes bugs with Seer’s abilities
  • Solves a script error that was sometimes triggered by an interaction between Fuse’s ult and Wattson’s ult

The team at Respawn have also indicated that all of the explosive holds on Kings Canyon have been opened as a temporary fix to a server crashing bug. This detail wasn’t mentioned once the first patch notes went live, but the update was posted moments ago to the official Twitter account. This change should be reflected live as of the time of writing.

All things considered, Apex Legends update 1.77 is yet another small step toward a smoother overall experience. The official patch notes only detail small bug fixes and tweaks, but no major adjustments for the Seer — not just yet. There’s certainly nothing here as surprising as the reveal of the Titan Battery and Arc tool, but we’ll take minor tweaks all the same.
