FC 24 Founders Evolution Bug: How to Fix Wrong Player Selection Glitch

A FC 24 Founders Evolution bug is impacting many players who are receiving the wrong player selection after using it. The Founders Evolution, or Founder Evolutions, is hawked by EA Sports as a unique opportunity for players who have Founder Status, which is given to those who play the game before November 1. The benefit of the Founder Evolution is being able to pick your favorite player in your club and upgrade them to a Founder Player to improve its overall rating. However, many players report a glitch where the person they pick, be it Jess Cater, Alvarez, Nunez, or someone else, for the upgrade turns out to be completely incorrect. Here’s what we know so far in terms of a fix for this bug with the Founders Evolution in EA Sports FC 24 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

How to fix FC 24 Founders Evolution bug

The only way to fix the Founders Evolution bug at this time is to wait for EA Sports to patch it.

The good news is that a community manager named EA_Pulsar on the official FC 24 forums has acknowledged this issue, though that was back on October 4. Many users in the thread report that after selecting a player to evolve, they see the animation of the player upgrading, but then after that happens, the card turns into a completely different player. There’s a lot of proof of this bug happening, including this recent video of how the switch occurs.

Since this glitch impacts Ultimate Team, which is where most of the game’s microtransactions are spent, we expect that EA Sports will fix this sooner rather than later. However, looking at the official Trello board for the EA Sports FC / FIFA franchise, there is still no specific card for it yet.

Given that there are other issues with the game that aren’t on the board either, like the Volta Football mode not working or the game disappearing from the EA App library altogether, we’ll chalk this up to the possibility that there are just too many bugs for the team to fix at the moment.
