No Online in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 on PS3, Xbox 360

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 won't feature online support in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, Activision has announced.

The publisher confirmed the news to Videogamer, failing to elaborate why exactly this is the case. It is a bit puzzling, as online gaming has been a key piece of nearly every modern game, even those on last-gen hardware.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 was revealed just a few weeks back and will come to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PS3 sometime later this year. Does the lack of online for last-gen hardware have you concerned? Are we even ready for a new entry in the series?
