Everyone’s favorite orange marsupial is heading to Xbox One, Switch and PC even earlier than originally planned. Those looking to spin, belly flop and, yes, fire a bazooka at knights in shining armor, will be pleased to know than Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has a new, earlier release date.
As revealed by the game’s Twitter account, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is heading to PC and the remaining consoles on June, almost exactly one year after the game’s PS4 release.

One would assume that, given the timing, the exclusivity deal runs out on June 28 and Activision are getting ready to mine that orange gold as soon as possible. Originally slated for release on July 10, the news of the game being brought forward is sure to warm the wumpa fruits of any and every ardent Crash fan.
For those living under a Koala Kong-thrown rock for the past 12 months, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy sees the original three Crash Bandicoot PlayStation titles completely remastered and released on one handy collection. While the game isn’t quite a 1:1 recreation of your nostalgia-fuelled dreams – it notoriously had some issues with ‘slipping’ on platforms thanks to its redesigned levels – it’s as close to perfect as you’re going to get, and sets the bar for future remaster efforts.
Crash’s purple pal Spyro is also receiving a next-gen makeover as the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is coming to consoles this September, though a precise launch date has yet to be announced.
