Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer premiere schedule revealed

It’s time to mark your calendars. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer premiere schedule has finally been revealed. During the event, a new trailer focused on multiplayer will debut, as well as tons of gameplay showcasing the competitive mode of the next entry in the popular first-person shooter series. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer premiere will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 10 AM PT.

The “MP Trailer” will make its debut flaunting the game’s multiplayer mode. This will then be followed immediately by the event’s pre-show. At 10:30 AM PT, the gameplay livestream will begin, giving you a live first-look of some multiplayer gameplay from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This will last until 2:00 PM PT, which will commence the post show. It does not say how long the last portion of the event will last, but if it’s as long as the pre-show, expect it to last at least 30 minutes. You’ll be able to catch all of this on the official Call of Duty Twitch channel.

Details on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s multiplayer are pretty slim. However, we do know that the game will bring the return of killstreaks. Rather than the scorestreaks system that has been used in the majority of the modern titles from the series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will resurrect the killstreaks system, the same one used in the original Modern Warfare trilogy.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to launch on October 25 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It has been said that it is a “reimagining” of the series but also takes place after the events of the original trilogy.
