Fortnite Twitter account hacked by frustrated fans

Following a patch that made controversial changes to the game, the official Fortnite Twitter account was hacked. The hacker posted comments saying “Revert the changes!!” and other non-standard messages.

Fatal Kansas swatting leads to 20 years in prison

A Californian man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison as punishment for a fatal swatting incident that occurred in 2017. The victim was 28-year-old Andrew Finch, who was shot by police on December 28, 2017.

Borderlands 3 release date and Epic Game Store exclusivity possibly revealed in deleted tweets

Prior to the game’s official announcement, tweets from the official Borderlands Twitter account were posted revealing the existence of Borderlands 3, as well as a release date. These premature tweets were quickly deleted, but not before internet users had screenshotted them.

Gearbox CEO says he would trade Half-Life 3 for Borderlands 3 on Steam

Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford tweeted that he will attempt to solve the negativity surrounding Borderlands 3‘s Epic Games Store exclusivity by using “all the leverage and influence” he has, to get the game on Steam. However, he has one condition: Valve must first announce Half-Life 3. Unsurprisingly, the tweet didn’t go over too well with PC gamers.

Deep Silver has been cracking down on stolen Metro Exodus keys. Users of unlicensed keys, often bought through unapproved resellers, may find that their version of the game no longer works.

Super Meat Boy Forever Delayed Past April

Super Meat Boy Forever has been delayed to “after, but not too far after, April 2019.” In its statement detailing the delay, Team Meat poked fun at “Evil Asshat corporations” who would rather developers sacrifice their “minds, bodies, and social lives” to hit a game release date, than delay the title.
