12 New DLC Characters For Street Fighter X Tekken

Posted on Friday, July 6 @ 17:40:51 Eastern by

Bringing the total character roster to 50 for Street Fighter X Tekken, Capcom has confirmed the release of 12 new playable characters for DLC. These characters were originally meant to be available only after the PS Vita release of the title (which I want now), but I suppose they're ready sooner rather than later. It will also come with a balance patch.

From Street Fighter, the DLC will have Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Guy, Sakura, and Elena, who hasn't been around since Street Fighter III: Third Strike. Her official tag team partner will likely be Christie Monteiro on Tekken side, who will be joined by Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury (one of my favs), Jack-X, Lars Alexandersson, and Lei Wulong.

The DLC pack will release on July 31, 2012 for "the low price of $19.99".

As a bonus, those who purchase Street Fighter X Tekken for PS Vita will be granted two download codes, one that will give PS3 owners of the title the 12 new characters and another that will unlock alternate costumes for the core roster of 38 characters. Those who pre-order the the PS Vita version from select retailers will receive the alternate costumes for the 12 new characters as well. All DLC for the title can be shared between the PS3 and PS Vita.

they wouldnt put elena and christie together just because they both do Capoeira, they havent made any tag team partners in the game with a SF character paired with a Tekken character.
Cody will obviously be paired with Guy, Blanka and Sakura because they are part of Dan's Dojo together, Elena and Dudley because they were in 3S together also because Dudley only uses punches and Elena only uses kicks; awesome pair.

Lei isn't readily available on SF X T?

DLCs and this used-copy prevention shenanigan are the reason I'm not making the move to the next generation.
