April 20 marked the one-year anniversary of the release of God of War. All throughout the week, Santa Monica Studios has been celebrating the game with giveaways and announcements, like the new God of War card game. As one would expect, the developer saved its biggest announcement for the official one year anniversary of God of War. The Raising Kratos documentary follows the journey of the God of War director Cory Barlog and the rest of the God of War team in their journey to revive the God of War series. The documentary provides an inside look at what went into making the critically acclaimed game, following the journey from an idea to completion. The God of War Raising Kratos documentary will be streamed on the official PlayStation YouTube channel, which means it will be free for everyone to enjoy. Santa Monica Studios is partnering with Sony to bring God of War fans an awesome inside look at what went into making the game for no cost whatsoever.
The Raising Kratos documentary release date hasn’t been announced yet; all we currently know is that it is expected to come soon. Normally you’d expect to hear more about this at E3, but since Sony is skipping E3 this year for the first time ever, there is no telling when we will learn more about the Raising Kratos documentary. However, we do know that it is coming and it will provide an inside look at God of War. Oh yeah, and it will be free!
