For anyone who has the very specific need to see Twitch’s number one streamer in terms of paid subs in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, here’s some great news for you. A couple of modders have been hard at work creating Dr Disrespect Resident Evil mods that stick him in the middle of the T-virus stricken Raccoon City.
The mods specifically add Dr Disrespect to both the Resident Evil HD Remaster, and the more recent Resident Evil 2 Remake. Both swap the Doctor in place of some of the franchise’s most iconic characters, letting players take on zombies as him or being eaten by some disrespectful undead.

Modder Letmelivegaming created the mod for the Resident Evil HD Remaster. Available on Nexus Mods, her mod has the Doc replace Chris Redfield. Sadly, Chris’ voice has not been replaced, meaning players will still hear him when Dr Disrespect opens his mouth. Happily, some members of the Resident Evil Modding Forum have set out to add some of Doc’s iconic yells.
The second mod, created by modder George and shared on the Resident Evil Modding Forum, works with the PC version of the Resident Evil 2 Remake. As with the previous mod, this one also replaces the game’s male playable character, in this case Leon Kennedy, with Dr Disrespect. Interestingly enough, this mod uses the same model created by Letmelivegaming for her Resident Evil HD mod. George simply ported it to the Resident Evil 2 Remake. Letmelivegaming herself actually shared a video of this mod in action, which you can see below.
Mods that replace a video game characters with other characters, both real world and fictional, are some of the most common types of mods in existence. We’ve covered mods like these before, such as these Sekiro mods that replace player character Wolf with both Toy Story‘s Woody, and Shrek‘s titular ogre. However, there’s something quite special about seeing someone who made their name playing video games, like Dr Disrespect, being modded into a video game themselves.
