Loot box odds disclosure policy to be required by Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo

According to the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), major video game publishers Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo are working to address the controversial loot box system by disclosing their odds. The ESA says that the change would “require the disclosure of relative rarity or probability of obtaining randomized virtual items.”

Death Stranding no longer a PS4 exclusive, official list suggests

Death Stranding has been removed from the list of exclusives featured on the official PlayStation website, suggesting that the game is no longer planned for a PS4 exclusive release. While the game is still scheduled to launch on November 8 for PS4, it’s now also possible that a PC and/or Xbox One version is in the works.

Ooblets Epic exclusivity results in thousands of hate messages, claims dev

According to developer Glumberland, the news of Ooblets being an Epic Games Store exclusive attracted a lot of hate from gamers. The developer apparently received thousands of “hateful, threatening messages.” Glumberland stated that they “really misjudged how angry so many people would be.”

Evo 2019’s Tekken 7 Snake reveal was a ‘little joke,’ DLC isn’t planned

To the disappointment of many Tekken and Metal Gear Solid fans, the appearance of Solid Snake during Evo 2019 was just “a little joke.” Apologizing for the confusion, Evo reps stated: “It was not intended to imply a character reveal, and was done on our own, without consulting Bandai Namco. Sorry for any confusion!”

Twitch uses Ninja’s channel to advertise other Fortnite streams

Following the streamer’s move to Mixer, the Ninja Twitch channel has been transformed into a hub that promotes other popular Fortnite creators. Underneath the header “The streamer you’re looking for is in another castle.” are a number of other active livestreamers.

Crash Team Racing Wumpa Coins prices revealed

Microtransactions have made their way to Crash Team Racing, infesting the game with purchasable Wumpa Coin Bundles. These allow players to bypass the grind and unlock cosmetic items with cash. The bundles were first spotted on the Australian PlayStation store, with three different packs available: 2,500 Wumpa Coins, 5,000 Wumpa Coins + 250 Bonus Coins, and 10,000 Wumpa Coins + 1,000 Bonus Coins.

Plants vs Zombies: Picnic leak reveals battle royale, new plants, zombies, and more

It’s been a hefty week of major leaks, with the not-yet-revealed Plants vs Zombies: Picnic apparently going to feature a battle royale mode called “Soil Survivors.” The game will also  introduce new plants, zombies, and more.

Rainbow Six Siege leak hints at new operators

Next up on our list of leaks is Rainbow Six Siege, which featured two new operators being uncovered. What appears to be concept art of the new operators shows a man in the middle of a swamp setting off a bomb, and a woman looking at archaeological artifacts. Expect to hear more soon.

World of Warcraft leak hints that Hearthstone’s tavern is coming to the game

Finally, a World of Warcraft leak suggests that the tavern in Hearthstone will soon be coming to WoW. Dataminer Martin Benjamins made a post on Twitter showing models of the tavern appearing in WoW. There are tables with little boards where the popular card game can be played. It seems polished and ready for release.
